Sue Magan Sue Magan, Director and Counsellor
Sue founded IEC in Madrid in 1995 with UC Berkeley graduate Brian J. Davey, originally to facilite access by Spanish students to study in other countries. Since those early days IEC has grown in response to demand and trends.

Sue’s professional background is in International Conferences and Protocol at the World Tourism Organization where she worked for 16 years following a two-year experience in Cote d’Ivoire. At WTO, she participated in organizing governmental meetings in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Indonesia, India, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Mexico. She obtained her MBA in 1994 at the European University, then launched IEC.

Born in Ireland in 1949, Sue came to Spain in 1969. Married, 4 offspring, 2 grandchildren.

Ros Slemint Ros Slemint, Senior Counsellor
Ros has been in the education field most of her working life. After graduating with a BA from Massey University in New Zealand, Ros worked as a researcher for the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA). She then furthered her studies with an MA (Applied) from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She worked as a community health social worker and health advisor to the NZ Government before moving to Spain in 1989, where she joined the NZ team for Expo 92 Seville and then started her own company as a Business English teacher. In 1999 Ros moved to Madrid to manage the Consular and Visa Section for the New Zealand Embassy before joining IEC Estudios as a Senior Counsellor in 2010.

Passions: walking and cycling in the Great Outdoors, travelling and learning anything new.

Sandra Sandra Paramo
Sandra has 6 years of experience in the international education field. She graduated in 2004 with a BA in Media and Communications from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She participated in several audiovisual and web-design projects before joining an international education consultancy in Madrid in 2006. There she helped develop the company as Marketing Assistant until 2008. She then progressed to Production Director and Interactive Marketing also in the international education field with direct responsibility for study abroad programs for students of all ages. In 2012 Sandra joined the IEC Estudios team as Marketing Director and is proud to be part of connecting students with best education options worldwide.
