Over 1,500 study programmes are offered through English in a multicultural environment. You may decide to learn Dutch, but this will not be a requisite to study in the Netherlands. Postgraduate in Holland

Qualifications and duration.

• Master Degree. Generally 1 year.
• Doctoral studies. 3 years, depending on program and method.

Tuition fees per year.

• EU/EAA and non EU/EAA students € 8,900/year for most Master Degree programs and € 11,000 for MBA programs.

Registration

• If you are living in the Netherlands for longer than four months you will need to register with the municipal register (gemeentelijke basis administratie) in the town where you are living.

Undergraduate in Holland

Qualifications and duration.

• You will need 240 EC credits to obtain your Bachelor Degree. 60 credits represent one year of full-time study and if you wish to major in a specific field of study, you must obtain 120 EC in this area, including work placement.
• Most Bachelor Degrees are taken over a 4 year period, or 3 if you prefer the fast-track route. According to Dutch law, one EC credit is equivalent to 28 hours of study.

Tuition fees per year.

• EU/EAA students: €1,835/year.
• Non EU/EAA students: € 7,800 to €7,950/year.
• Scholarships are offered by Dutch universities.

Registration

• If you are living in the Netherlands for longer than four months you will need to register with the municipal register (gemeentelijke basis administratie) in the town where you are living. EU students should do this before 1st October each year to be eligible for EU tuition fees of € 1,771.

Foundation/ English Prep. in Holland

If your home language is not English, you need to be sure you have a good command of English before you start your university studies. You can take from 2 months up to a year at university in Holland prior to your Bachelor or Master Degree. Benefits:
