  • Master of Biological Anthropology, Australian National University (ANU). Aimed to provide a grounding in the main sub-fields of biological anthropology, and optionally to proceed from that to a short supervised research thesis in the field.
  • Graduate Certificate in Biological Anthropology, Australian National University (ANU). Designed for students who may have relatively little prior formal background in the subject. Progression into the Master of Biological Anthropology is possible upon completion.

  • Graduate Certificate in World Historical Studies, Griffith University. Study the world historical significance of cross-cultural contact and conflict from the sixteenth century to the present day.
  • Graduate Certificate in Literary Classics (1 year part-time, via external study), Griffith University. Literary translation, understanding of the history of translation and appreciation of a number of critical issues in the field. Aimed to working translators.
  • Master of Arts Translation and Interpreting Studies, University of Western Sydney. It aims to equip students with knowledge of the theoretical aspects that underpin interpreting and translation, including linguistics, and with the research techniques necessary to conduct a small research project in the area of interpreting and translation.
  • Master of Interpreting and Translation, University of Western Sydney. A practical professional orientation, geared towards achieving the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd (NAATI) Professional Interpreter and/or Translator accreditations.
  • Graduate Diploma in Interpreting, University of Western Sydney. Suited to fluent bilinguals seeking a theoretical background as they acquire the high level skills necessary to practise as professional interpreters. Subject to demand, the languages available are Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin or Spanish.
  • Graduate Diploma in Translation, University of Western Sydney. All practical components are informed by the theories of Interpreting, Translation, related disciplines and the results of current research. Subject to demand, the languages available are Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin or Spanish.
