  • Master of Science, Victoria University. Victoria University offers a range of traditional research Masters programmes as well as six specialist coursework Masters programmes. Subjects available: Biotechnology, Cell and Molecular Bioscience, Chemistry, Conservation Biology, Geology, Geomicrobiology, Geophysics, Molecular Microbiology.
  • Master of Science (MSc), University of Otago. A two-year degree which encompasses both coursework and research. Plenty of subject areas: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Energy Studies, Microbiology, Geology, Geophysics.
  • Master of Science (Technology), University of Waikato. Advanced programme of study which combines taught papers with an applied or industrial based research thesis or dissertation. The programme includes two papers on industrial technology and innovation.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Postgraduate Certificate in Science, Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Designed for students who hold a science or technology undergraduate degree and want to extend their skills and knowledge. The qualifications suit those who may have been out of study for a while and wish to up-skill in a specific area.
