Aviation Management – Commercial Pilot.

  • Aviation Management – General Arts and Science, Algonquin College. 2 years delivered over 16 months of concurrent training. Theory and 250 hours of flight time in partnership with the Ottawa Flying Club and Ottawa Aviation Services to prepare you to become a commercial pilot. Complete the Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence written examination (CPAER) and practical flight test.

Aircraft and Avionics Maintenance.

  • Diploma of Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance, Centennial College. 2 years. Skills in aircraft maintenance, power plant structures, inspections, troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical and electronic applications. Practical application in labs working on aircraft engines, conducting aircraft and component inspections in a maintenance environment and performing flight-line activities.
  • Diploma of Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance, Centennial College. 2 years. Basic electronics to sophisticated avionic systems used in modern aircraft. Emphasis on various electronic systems: electrical power distribution and control, navigation, flight instrumentation, communication and radar. Aviation maintenance servicing practices and procedures, as well as aviation regulation requirements round out your training.
  • Aviation Techniques – Aircraft Maintenance, Algonquin College. 1 year. Knowledge and skills required for work in the aircraft maintenance industry. In collaboration with Centennial College.
