Small, strong and beautiful, Scotland is home to one of the oldest universities in the world – St. Andrews, founded by a Papal Bull in 1413. Scotland is a wonderful destination in which to study, has 19 universities and 41 colleges. The Universities Scotland website provides a wealth of information via links to each of the universities in Scotland and which is well worth pursuing.

Enjoy a breezy coastal walk, a hike in the mountains, fish the rivers, play on some of Scotland’s renowned links, learn all about whisky at a traditional distillery, visit castles or sail along Scotland’s 13,000 kilometers of coastline. No wonder more than 30,000 students from 180 countries come to Scotland each year.
